Yeah, "DVD remote," suuuuure. I think someone lost their BillPratt-brand reality-altering Polyversal Remote Control.

OK I know this is a little late for asking about this, and in some ways I feel like this is bumping, but what dose this have to with increased beauty?

You need to read a few of my comics. Several of them have to do with a remote control that does a lot of interesting things, but usually gets used to improve one's physical characteristics. The most recent contains an ordinary looking young lady swapping her looks for those of the head cheerleader and the chaos that results when she finds that the body comes with the cheerleader's brain.

I've just finished up a commission, which I think would fit in this thread pretty alright.

So in the One Piece canon Alvida turns from a rather large woman to a more conventioinally attractive one after eating a Devil Fruit; this commissioner asked me to depict the change in a small comic. I hope you'll enjoy it.

I don't know who that is, but that's a nice bit of art!

Re: More general 'increased beauty'

Alvida was an early One Piece pirate villain- She was grossly obese, but was confident of her 'beauty' nonetheless. Eventually, she ate a demon fruit (fruit with amazing power that change the consumer permanently in various ways) called a Sube Sube fruit. The fruit made her nearly impossible to grab or hold but also caused her to lose weight and actually made her the beauty she always thought she was.

["Sube sube" is an onomonopoetic phrase Japanese use for slippery or extremely smooth items.]

Cluedog/Smooch did a series of pictures on Alvida a few years back. Follow the link since for some reason I couldn't get the preview post to show it properly as the URL was invisible.

Whatever it is, it looks like copious drugs were involved.
