Midnight Bite. I’ve posted it on other servers, thought of sharing it here! |
Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
Hey, thanks a lot for sharing that thenewflash! The effects were obviously very indie and done on a shoestring budget, but the atmosphere was great, the TF wasn't half bad and the girl was beautiful. One of those rare flawed gems!

Gryf does another Rose Crowley quicky. I swear he needs to just hook up with Rose for some transformation shorts or film. He's such a tease! <3 Enjoy!

AI werewolf art is getting scary good. This artist is a good example but there are many more:

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
🖕 to AI-generated images. That isn’t art.

And?

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
there's nothing wrong with ai art.

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
Nothing bad about the AI "art" itself, but the problem is when someone is having monetary benefits from it, that simple, because you cannot sell what is not yours.
But this is really the tip of the iceberg. The real global issue is the usage of the data. That's why in the EU the authorities are more and more concerned about data in terms of privacy... and ownership of the data. |

people used to steal my stuff and edit it, that's part of the reason I left.
still here drawing, creating and enjoying life. but my stuff remains un-stolen and shared with those I can trust. could take or leave the AI stuff tbh. |
Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
Since everyone's weighing in, here's my take: I don't like AI art. We can go into the ethical issues surrounding it: it's copying the styles of artists who might not have given permission, it eats up a lot of energy and has an environmental impact (maybe not as much as crypto mining but still...), it can be abused by large companies to put professional artists out of a job... all of those are valid concerns. But even if we lived in a world where all the ethical issues surrounding AI art were dealt with, I still don't like it from an aesthetic point of view
It's not the uncanny valley thing - there are artists out there who use all sorts of digital tools to make very detailed and realistic images, and I'm all for that. I think what it comes down to is, knowing that an image was created with absolutely no effort beyond coming up with a prompt kind of ruins my experience of the image. All those DreamUp images on DeviantArt just feel cheap and soulless even if AI could get to a point where the images are completely flawless. I think that, to me, the mindset of the artist, or at least the perceived mindset of the artist, is part of the overall quality of the work. I'm not good at mentally separating the art from the artist: if I think the artist is a jerk or a creep, I can't really enjoy their work no matter how good it is on a purely technical level (this mostly applies to music, film directors, or actors in my everyday life, but could just as easily apply to TF art and writing). With AI, there is no artist, so that intangible part of the artwork that feels important to me is completely absent and the AI-generated image has no appeal. I'm sure some people might think that's irrational, and they might be right, but I don't think matters of taste need to be rationalized. |
Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
I know I’m not a mod, but as a former content creator and artist, I recommend we focus on promoting REAL ART on this thread, that is created by an ARTIST and not AI. We should start a thread that is dedicated to AI-generated garbage… I mean, images.

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
Came across this on youtube today and figured it might be worth some attention. Possible female transformation teased at the very end of this trailer. For what it's worth though, probably won't be much of anything. But worth to keep an eye on at least.

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
Pierce Brosnan (Black Adam, The Thomas Crown Affair, Mamma Mia) is set to star in the thriller WOLFLAND, directed by Sean Brosnan (My Father Die) and written by Sean Brosnan and Matt D’Elia. The film is produced by Marcus Warren for LIGHT SOUND FREQUENCY, and Christian Moore for THE CONSORTIUM, with Imaginarium Studios, helmed by Andy Serkis (Planet of the Apes franchise) providing ground breaking creature design and effects. The Exchange is executive producing and handling worldwide sales at the Marché du Film in Cannes. The film is in pre-production and looking to shoot later this year, in the UK.
In this epic odyssey, a young teenager’s sister is viciously attacked and shows signs of a transformation, he leaves his small village in search of a legendary werewolf hunter who can reverse the gruesome curse. When he finds the “legend”, Devlin, slumped against a bar and in no mood for ghost stories, Delvin takes the kid’s money and agrees to hunt down this phantom monster, only to find themselves in a deadly whirlwind of carnage. “I’m excited to be working with Pierce on a film that aims to redefine the werewolf sub-genre. With the amazing special effects talents at Imaginarium, we’ll craft a werewolf transformation set to rival the iconic scenes from ‘An American Werewolf In London’. We're thrilled about the potential impact of an expanding Wolfland universe.” - Sean Brosnan |
Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
First law of deceptive werewolf movies: "If the director mentions An American Werewolf in London, the transformation will be bad as hell, no matter the budget of the movie." :D :D

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
Sounds really promising, was skeptical but there are a lot of reputable sources reporting on this! Wonder if Sean Brosnan is one of us.
