I honestly don't care if people agree with me, I'm not stating opinion here, I'm stating professional standard. I'm glad it made your penis hard, but that doesn't make it a good animation or clip.

Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
Remember, Kari, by your standards, it is not good. By artistic standards, that is up to the critics. If you come to everything with a "media producer" point of view you may miss artistic merit in some places. Since you draw art, I don't believe you always think so objectively.
For example, if someone came to you and said your doggirls (or wuffers, as you call them) and said the angles you pick are too boring, would you not disagree? Since the clip in question can but not necessarily referred to as cinema, auteur theory can be applied to it just as artistic expression can be applied to your drawing of doggirls. Not to mention, whether or not something is actually good, and whether or not you like it, are two different things. I like The Howling, but I do not think it is good. Just as I do not like An American Werewolf in London, but I am aware it is a good film. |

Still that I can kinda deal with. Cause everyone is entitled to their own views on the functions and structures of things. The part that really irks me though is questioning someone elses views by making a remark that seems to derive that they are only interested in something because of their penis. That just really irks me. I originally had a reversal point at Kari here and their own personal "interests" along with the remark I am sure it made their penis hard too. Instead I cut it out because I don't feel like being so harsh to make a point. I just want to say it's one thing to disagree with someone, it's another thing to try to demean them and insult their tastes by implying that they only have interest in something because it "made your penis hard." |
Re: Female Werewolf needles in a haystack
To be fair(also, hi, lurker mode temporarily disengaged), I've studied 3D animation and though this was 2D both tends to be dependent on very similar principles.
And, well, to be frank this animation in general was.... very subpar. Especially the pacing. I could talk at a certain lenght about animation curves and the "natural" flow of animations an animator needs to produces but this had very few of it. Anatomy was generally bad and linework/coloring could have been better. It's an animation, and admitedly there is very little such work involving werewolves, especially quality ones, but many of Kari's point are relevant in her criticism of this. |

I can't believe this devolved into such BS. Let's all just drop it and move on. |
