Not a TF dealt with as often as cows, cats, and such, but it's an interesting one. Basically in this thread, post any human to primate, human to previous species of human, or human down the full evolutionary road TF's. To start off, here's a little set I whipped up in MS Paint.

Hmm, i disagree. Looks like he wanted her to regress to a early hominid state, like australopeticus or the like. Which i find completely legitimate for a topic called devolution. Don't get me wrong, full ape TFs work absolutely fine for me, but i like the halfway TFs almost better. (personal preference here)

In which case he should have not given the prehensil foot, still reduced the breast size, still have moved her vaginal opening farther down, and have major facial changes.

It's from the "Batman: The brave and the bold" series. The Episode was titled:
"Terror on Dinosaur Island".
It was already mentioned some time ago by Singory (Thanks again, man !)

Those screenshots came from an episode of 'Lilo and Stitch The Series'.

I can't believe nobody mentioned that she starts off Aryan and "devolves" to black. I know we all were black back in the day, so its unavoidable, but the starting point being Blonde Hair Blue Eyes really makes it seem racist.

Actually after she started gettin harier her skin should probably lighten. The hair should serve as somewhat of a barrier to UV.

Well, if you take what I understand to be the current scientific view of the spread of human cultures you have people coming out of Africa and moving to various environments. There their skin lightened and heights on average decreased to deal better with cooler climates. For example, if they were showing a Native American in this sequence they would revert to looking more Asian first followed by then growing darker skinned...So no its not technically racist, as that was the progression of skin color and such as determined by the currently most accepted theories in anthropology. So lets stop the PC train please.

Aryan's aren't blonde and are not blue eyed. That's a nordic trait. Aryan's would be Iranians and people of Indian descent. Learn the basics of history before making accusations.

He's referring to Adolph Hitler and the Aryan/Dravidian Myth. Perhaps that is why he sees racism in it. After all, Hitler was the most famous racist of all time.

Oh come on guys, please don't turn this into a political/ social/ historical discussion ok ?
Well i honestly don't think the TF subject was choosen with any racistic
agenda behind it !
If someone wants to perceive something negative , he will probably find it anywhere.
And for racism in general: I think any halfway intelligent person should be
able to penetrate this aryan/ nordic superiority bullshit theories, the idiots who brought them up used to be complete nutjobs.

(Geez, i wonder if any Werewolf TF would ever cause such a reaction:( )

Right! Only in the Indic and Iranian branches of Indo-European did the form *h2erio- become applied to a racial name. In other branches, it would mean something like "fellow tribesperson."

The Nazis misunderstood that to terrible results.

In fact, it's impossible to know the eye colour and hair colour of the people the Nazis were trying to refer to. It's only by pure luck that the hair colour of any ancient person is known, through art or mummification or writing...
And there are always variations!

Anyway, this TF isn't purposefully racist. It simply goes back through the human history.

Crash dont worry. Not all of us who dislike this TF are gonna go nuts. I may not like Deevo Tf's but if I were to negativly comment on your Tf then what right would I have to be at the process at all. On that note I rember a good Deevo seen in the TV series Wierd Science. I belive that one of the main Charters slowly devolves over the show and it spreads to a girl he is dating. Its an ok Live acton Deevo.

No, by any means no ! I say it again, it was a great post ! I liked it very much, the idea and the execution !
Please, don't let yourself get discouraged by some posts.
I think the whole discussion is rooted in the thinking of some people who view
de-evolution and Ape/Monkey TFs in general as derogative Form of transformation.
If you had depicted a woman of a none caucasian ethnic group turning into maybe a skunk or something no one would have complained.
Or perhaps Princess Jasmine into a jackal ( a scavenger !), the whole bunch would have applauded !
But a TF of a human into his next genetic relative, oh my god, what a degradation !

(Sorry for the rant, but it really bugged me that you got so discouraged by someones rather non constructive comment)

Actually, if no-one really has noticed, he enjoys the work (most of it). however, is nitpicky. There. End of story. ... back to topic.

Crash, don't be discouraged. Remember, as someone once told me, "If it has a monkey in it, it's good." The same should hold true for apes.

And devolution/primate-TF isn't covered as much in the TF community nearly as much as cats, skunks, and so forth are. That's why I decided to post some. Someone brought up something semi-related a while ago. It was the idea that if catgirls co-existed with man if they were to devolve they would become saber tooth catgirls.

I would love to see something like that.

How humanoid do you want the modern catgirls to be? We talking nekomimi or more along the lines of what Selena Kyle/Catwoman looked like in the Batman episode 'Tiger Tiger'? I can do a quick sequence of that from early quadruped feline to sabertoothed catgirl to modern catgirl. Just need to know how 'furry' the modern result needs to be. I know I posted a thing for commissions in the General discussion section, but I might do a freebie for that idea.

Re: Devolution

Saber tooth tigers were not the ancestors of modern cats. A reasonable devolution would include something that looks like a civet girl.

Speaking of cat girl devos, Starfire was placed in a "devolving pit" along with most of the other Teen Titans, in the New Teen Titans comic #15, vol 1. The others turned ape-like, but her alien race seemingly descended from a cat-like creature.

Oh, i think a Bigfootification fits in this thread very well!
I really liked that story! Though you did it more like a case study, it's not so difficult to imagine the lady in the picture getting lured by the sasquatch's primal sexuality into a more simpler life. I also liked the idea that the victim is very slowly devolving, i can practically imagine how she struggles with the changes in her everyday life, like shaving her increasingly hirsute body before finally giving up. And the sketch is also very cool on itself. Damn, it really made me curious how her transformation could have progressed and how she would look as the sasquatch's mate. :D

Not that I know of. However, I did commission Angrboda 2 years ago to do a one-shot of a young woman turning into a Plesiadapis — part of a sister group to the Primates, the Plesiadapiforms, which went extinct about 55 million years ago.

I love them on devolution/ape/monkey TFs as well. Big fan of Jitensha's work and most of AlphineCentury's commissions since they often have them.

Speaking of, thanks for posting that WWOEC artist link, AlphineCentury! I hadn't seen the tribute work, and it's great.
