Yep, making a TF website list. Please give me links and I will include them. No links to individual pieces of art, DA sites, or youtube links. Thank you.

And please give the link, do not give me the name of the site.

There was this comic about some teenaged girl who was attacked by her bf who is a werewolf and then she moves to some town. I forgot the name, I got the original link from Tyger a long time ago. If I remembered the name I'd post the link.

Ahh I see... strange...

I'm actually pulling some of these sites off of the links page of Dragonaide's old website (pity he left it).

So most of the sites aren't really up to date.

Actually, I've spoken to him before, and he's told me that he's still having another site under construction. He has some screenies of his progress on his deviantart page. And he hasn't spoken to me for quite a while now...

Re: TF Website List

Dragonaide has recently removed everything from his deviantart site.

Now all that is left is a blank front page.

I checked on a forum he frequents.

It seems as though he is still working on a website, but no details as to when he will be finished.

I do know that he is angry at the furry community.

He feels the furry community has degenerated from a respected type of art to a glorified porn fetish type.

He especially bashes Fur Affinity for the community.

He claims that the furry community lets in so many types of fetish (when I was on fur affinity, there were about twelve fetish catagories) that the non fetish artists are few and far between.

So there you have it.

Back to the idea of TF sites.

I began my venture into TF art six years ago.

I have seen a shift from single artist sties to Deviant Art Sites.

Basically, if you search around Fur Affinity or Deviant Art, you will find a ton of TF artists.

Re: TF Website List

Ariana is hardly a classic. She only came on the scene in 2004 or 2005,by which time the furry artists who'd started this transformation subgenre
had been gone for about 2-4 years.

In 2000 to 2001 nobody even knew Ariana existed.Back then
you'd be referring to Fissure King,Ranzab,Picklejuice and gang as the
'classic ' sites

Probably if anyone deserves the title 'classic',it would
have to be A J Pearson(Picklejuice) who was the pioneer furry Ariana
yanked the mantle away from.Back in 2001 Pearson was banging out
cheapo tf art by the ton,and had stacks of websites scattered about the
web with his furry and tf art sequences. The LTF story universe that
Cubist archived( and which got sick around the same time the
furry tf subgenre got sick 911) had its artwork done by Pearson.Pearson also
donated stuff he found or made to the TF Graphics Archive, which was the
predessessor to the S&D type archive.

When Transfur and tranform.to downsized,a lot of stuff vanished, and
only fragments of that time remain on archive.org,as well as the
Tf-Ring,which contained various stories from Magus T Fox and other
furries

It's a pity really, the transformation community is dieing... This has got to be the only real active forum I've gone to... All the others have some occasional updates... But the only reason why I believe this forum survives is that it does not limit itself to one genre...

A big pity really, and it's sad to see that the more popular tf art is all fetish...

If 'transformation' refers to everything(6 billion human clients and growing)
and 'tf" refers to the furry-fetish sub(everything) (the thing most people
call the tf community)
the tf product is near the end of its life cycle. Its about 1/3 what
it was at its peak ( 1999-2000) and about the same level as the
pioneers would have experienced in 1995-1997

One of the pioneer websites no longer with us is this one
http://web.archive.org/web/199904220...w.tf-ring.com/

By 1999 tf-webring was on a proper webring and had about 199 sites
on it.By comparison animal tf webring currently has about 60-70 sites

The Pioneers has the freshness and newness

The Main Phase had money and organization

The Evening Twilight has goodwill and a established customer the late
comers can market to.

Ariana is succeeding because she came in near the end.If she'd come
4-5 years earlier she'd be a small fish in a lake of bigger fish,

Lol we can only hang on to what remnants lie within our paws and claws (and fins, hooves... you get my drift...). But I fear the most about the tf or 'transformation' fandom to die, or worse yet... Become a monstrosity among all fetishes (Rule of gay donkey and wolf tf sex, no offense to you fans out there).

My only high hope, is that after the summer hits, the numbers will start coming in again because school and college and what not will be done for the year. But then again, just like blackvelvet said, we are becoming smaller and smaller as the years go by.

Or more and more underground? Most artists seem to be moving off to "normal" art these days. I've done a couple of photomanips since my last lot of shitty ones on my dA (from when I first started) that I think are somewhat better than my previous attempts, that I haven't bothered to post up - which is just pure laziness on my part lol

From what I gather Dutchman actually purchases the videos he puts on
that site. What with stacks of multipart episodes on Youtube and
things like Emule, thats no longer a economically viable method to obtain stuff.
Theres no 'fun' in paying $28.99 for Enchanted when a cheapo bootleg can
be picked up for free on various sites

True. It's damned nice of him to keep hosting what he's got though. I know of at least one site that tried to do something like that and even collected donations and then never did anything else with it again (so far) except tease. Oh, well, nothing's easy.
