Okay, that hex-boobed elephant girl was just sublime, and the quad-boobed long-haired donkey's not bad at all either. Terriffic work! :D :D :D

New sequence posted (actually wg...but I did say I only wanted to update one thread). Also a new poll posted - need results by the end of the year.

And keep working on those art contest entries folks!

Happy Thanksgiving.

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Concept for a future art contest I'm bouncing around (probably won't make it into #4) - looking for some feedback here...

I'm thinking it might be pretty interesting to take a handful of my favorite older tf/tg focused stories (I say old, I'm thinking about ones that I discovered back in college circa '98-'99- mostly from now defunct sites - ie. TSA, Robo's World, old SRU, multi-breast gallery, Mark T's story archive at BEArchive, etc.....). I've already tried contacting an author from the email listed at TSA to no avail.

If I were to post them (or link to them) giving the authors (whoever they were/are) full credit....and ask folks to pick a sequence to illustrate - or create several individual pics from their favorite parts of any given story...would that be cool? I wouldn't need to get permission from the original artist for anything like this would I?

Opinions?

Edit - updated site tonight as well!

I love Gany and Hank! Well, sort of. What exactly is the story about how they came to be the way they are. I can't seem to figure that out from the bits that Solios writes when he posts them on DeviantArt.

Thanks.

A couple of the initial caption bits were omitted on the first couple of pics.

From my notes when I commissioned:

1. http://solios.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2vlyv7

Hank: ?I?m telling you, it?s not normal. Nobody gains 50 pounds in a week. Don?t tell me you haven?t heard the rumors about all those other students ? my advanced programming class was half empty today.?

Gany: ?Classes are always half empty on Friday mornings ? how long have you been here again? I can?t believe you?d take that gossip seriously. If it makes you feel any better, we can swing by the clinic first thing Monday morning. Truth be told, I?m feeling a bit of a cold coming on myself.

Hank: *sniffing* ?I?m not surprised given the way you dress in this weather. Say?do you smell cinnamon??

-------------

2. http://solios.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2vlzev

As it turns out, Hank was right on both counts. Her extreme weight gain brought on by mixups in the new student "orientation" vaccine program (a reference to some of Solios' previous growth sequences) was anything but normal, which also happened to be the cause for the increased number of students absent from classes. In Hank?s case as well, the ?growth? was accelerated by the exposure to an accidentally released experimental nanovirus (hence the cinnamon scent - an identification tag) by the Department of Xenobiochemistry. In Gany?s case, where her non-Minoan genetic heritage appeared to be distinctly advantageous ? after years of paying increased tuition costs as an off-worlder ? exposure to the virus resulted in a completely different slew of side effects.

Hank: ?Tissue??

Gany: ?Danks.?

University Legal Services would definitely be working overtime on this one.

----------------------

3. http://solios.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2w29ds

Gany and Hank take time off from studying for midterms with a light lunch at their favorite Nipponese (taking a page from Neil Stephenson?s word usage) Fusion restaurant ? Sakura Deli Express and Biergarten. Manager and local forward-thinking entrepreneur Toshiro Heisenberg ? never one to miss an opportunity ? immediately saw the profit in designing facilities and accommodations to ?cater? to the expanding student population ? literally. Hank definitely enjoying her kosher California roll platter ? Sierra Nevada style (forcing herself to eat with chopsticks has helped her limit caloric intake?.slightly). Gany on the other hand is still having trouble adjusting to her new appendage ? whether eating matzo soup or tofu tempura.

Gany: *exasperatedly* ?Not again!?

Hank: ?Why do you insist on trying to use those things if they give you so much trouble ? just use your fingers.?

Gany: ?A proper lady never eats with her fingers.?

Hank: ?Does a proper lady dangle her ear in her soup??

Gany: ?*expletive deleted*?

------------------

4. http://solios.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2yek2k

Hank: ?Come on in, the water?s great!?

Gany: ?Not on your life?do you know how much I just spent on my hair??

Hank: ?It?ll be fun?you?ve even got your own snorkel.?

---------------

5. http://solios.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d35gtd1

Hank: ?Frankly, all I?m saying is that I can?t really see the point of getting up earlier than we would for class and spending a morning at the shops?that?s kinda the point behind e-shopping.?

Gany: ?Because it?s important to try before you buy. Besides, half the fun is rifling through a neat pile and leaving a mess for some underpaid bimbo to sort out.?

Hank: ?Especially if that ?underpaid bimbo? happened to be the TA who gave you a D in bio-chem last quarter? Not as if any of their standard outfits would fit - all our clothes this year have been special orders.?

Gany: ?Well?.yeah ? and why does it take twice as long for my custom orders to come in as it does for yours??

Hank: ?I think half the delay is caused by waiting for the stock clerks to stop laughing when they see your reference pics.?

Gany: ?That?s the last time you touch my camera. Now walk faster, I don?t want my coffee to get cold.?

Hank: (laughin) ?Just you wait till my reimbursement check comes?then we?ll see who carries whose coffee.?

-----------

stay tuned for holiday updates!

Sounds like a good idea. Permissionwise, I'd treat it like any fanart; doesn't hurt to have the author's blessing, but it's not a horrible crime to pay unofficial tribute to their work.

Oh yeah, before I forget, the whole Minoan thing that particularly affects Hank is a reference from Solios' original character designs - ie. http://solios.deviantart.com/art/Our-Top-Story-67453926

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Posted the first part of another big sequence.

http://transrepo.blogspot.com/2011/0...ping-trip.html

The rest will go up this weekend - as well as a new expansion sequence by Powerman2000 (should probably post in body expansion board too).

Looking for guesses (in the comments) on what sorts of TFs you think we'll see. I'll give you a hint - everyone changes!

Admittedly the final result was a little more "furry" than I had in mind initially - but when something arrives in my inbox after more than a year - with the amount of detail and effort put into it (and for the price!!!) - I can't really complain.

I'll also be posting some post-tf bonus pics that I included in the commission to cater to the sticky-site.com - since the artist is pretty much resident there. Will probably go up in my small gallery there as well.

very much looking forwards to the rest
I assume that the ones interacting with various animal-related things will turn into those animals, the girls poking the turtle will turn into turtles, the ones checking out the bear scratch to bears. The guy carrying all the shit into a donkey maybe?

Another art contest entry posted...get those entries in by midnight Tuesday.

And, first pic posted of a new comic sequence by Jacques00! I've been waiting so long for this beautiful piece of work and it does not disappoint at all - so definitely not gonna blow my load in one shot with this one ;p

5 different transformations in this one....13 pages total.

One caveat though - as I mention on the post - the intention is to post on a M, W, F schedule again - but ONLY if I receive at least 5 comments from unique (non-anonymous) viewers on each page. Jacques00 put a ton of work into this one and he definitely deserves the feedback!

First page below:

Amazing new art contest submission (animated gif) tonight - actually tg, etc rather than tf - but like I said, better to just update one thread than 4.

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Well I've got ideas coming out of my pores at the moment...it's just a question of actually finding time to write them all out. Also the headache with trying to get much bigger pieces commissioned - hoping to see a long format comic show up at mamabliss eventually on her gonewild site.

And yeah....I'll be mostly indisposed for the next couple of months with work - hopefully will find time to write up a few more ideas...then get back to commissioning by the summer. Hopefully.

SoylentOrange 04-04-2011 09:34 PM

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Aw, man, don't waste your money on Mamabliss. I'd rather see a comic where you can tell what the hell's going on and what's being said.

Agreed, the medium means less the more garbled it gets. That said your time and dime, if you like the product you are in full rights to go that road.

thrandrall 04-06-2011 08:49 PM

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Well, the comic concept I commissioned is a lot more minimalist in description (I have a "bad" habit of writing up ideas with particular styles/artists in mind, but I only rarely have the opportunity/resources to match those ideas to said artists as I would prefer)...but I guess we'll need to wait and see how/when it turns out.

However, I have posted the conclusion of another sequence on my page and will have a couple more posts tomorrow night.

thrandrall 05-07-2011 09:35 AM

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Still out of town so posting is going pretty slowly. Do have stuff in the works and a few more posts going up this weekend and next week. New Oppaiman and some tweaked versions of older posts for readability.

Also a previously unposted sequence by Engineskye.

thrandrall 06-17-2011 06:26 PM

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Currently posting the remainder of "Looking for Love" by Oppaiman over the next week.

Look for another *big* project by cluedog soon - TG, SW, minor TF, AR, BE, etc. ....it will be a donation piece though.

Also looking at options for Kickstarter funding for future projects. Need to finish writing some up and run them by a few different artists, then I'll probably hold a poll to choose which one to try first.

thrandrall 06-24-2011 09:41 AM

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Finally finished posting "Looking For Love." A few more projects in the works, but probably a little lighter this summer depending what else I can get started.

thrandrall 06-30-2011 09:43 PM

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

Sample pics posted from my next Cluedog sequence as well as Mamabliss' forthcoming comic (also referenced in her current blog post).

I'm extremely excited about both projects. I've seen the first 9 pages of the comic and it's turned out beautifully - incredible detail and artwork.

Cluedog's piece will be donation as I mentioned, but given the amount of work and investment put into it - not to mention the variety of sequences, I think it's more than worth it! TG (multiple), SW, AR/BE, clothing changes, some minor TF, etc....

Also stand by for an amazing 9 page TF comic by Zanfadar with coloring by Engineskye - and a few other projects.

Still waiting on the 2nd half of "Test Pilot" by Mamabliss - but the entire thing will eventually be posted on my site as well.

Re: New site and art contest (no new pics yet actually)

that was a entertaining piece like always, art was terrific from Zach like always.

though i must admit some parts confused me with the story flow since it was a silent story. I'm guessing the end trio was suppose to be the beginning trio? as they were in the jar so i just didn't see when they got moved?

also was it suppose to be 93 or 94 images? as i only have 93 in the file.
