To be PLAYABLE you want 2ghtz processor, 1gig ram, and a 256 mb (dedicated) gfx card (geforce 6000 series will do, MAYBE upper 5000's)

I tried the game on a comp with 512mb ram and a 2ghtz Pentium 4 processor with a 256mb(dedicated)GeForce 6800, and after letting it load the area, it stalled on the load scrren every time.

Also, keep in mind that VISTA itself takes 512 ram, for a VISTA system you want 1.5gig-2gigs for this game.
