would puppet TF fall under the machine girl category or would they need to be able to walk and move on there own to count?

Personally, I like being able to tell the girl in front of me is a machine or something rather then all these cute girl animes like Saber Marrionette J or Steel Angel Karumi where you can't tell if they are a machine or not.
