It's finished at last

--Chapter 8--

Saiko and Yuji use the needle to again open the box and climb out; as Yuji helps Saiko down, she slips and falls right on top of him and after several seconds she quickly pushes off of him in frustration, leaving Yuji curious. As they make their way across the room the doors suddenly open and one of the dark suited men walk in, Saiko rapidly pushes in to Yuji as they dive behind some boxes and wait for him to leave, Yuji discovers that during this Saiko is pressing her naked body up against his and tries desperately not to indicate that he is enjoying it. Soon thereafter then man leaves and they both breathe a sigh of relief. Saiko then realizes the position she?s in and looks at Yuji to find his face beet red and then quickly slaps him and asks him why didn?t he say anything, Yuji tries not to laugh as he mentions that her reaction was why. They spot the table where the SR generator is and realize that it is too high for them to reach, Yuji then spots a vent in the wall that should lead up to another above the table and forces it open.

As the two of them make their way up the series of hoses to the vent up above, Yuji final asks Saiko why she came to his house on her own (his original plan had counted on her bringing some backup). He then tells her that his plan to have everything discovered without him being the one to reveal it and thus not allow the aliens to catch on was going great until she of all people showed up. Saiko ignores him and continues to climb, he then asks her why, if she considered him a suspect, did she have such concern for his well-being. With Saiko still refusing to answer, Yuji finally strikes a nerve when he asks that something was starting between them during that talk they had on the bench back at the university. Saiko explodes and yells at him that that is ridiculous, that she is not supposed to let emotion blind her judgment as a police officer and considering what he had done to her and the others, she has nothing but malcontent towards him now. Just as Saiko finishes shouting at Yuji, the hose she is climbing slips and she falls off, at the last second Yuji is able to grab her hand and keep her form plummeting down the now (massive for them) shaft, upon pulling her back up, Saiko briefly swallows her pride and thanks him. The two of them emerge from the vent above and see the SR generator still on the table nearby, Saiko asks Yuji what his plan is and he tells her that on the other side of the room there is a power conduit and if they hit with the SR generator at full power it should cause a feed back in it the generator and cause it to overload and the sudden release of energy should counteract the original effects and restore everyone to their original size instantly.

They quickly make it over to the generator and start manipulating it up and towards the conduit, Yuji then adjusts it to full power and the generator begins to charge up. Just as it seems apparent that they?ll succeed, the doors suddenly open and Celestia walks in and immediately spots them. Saiko then notices among the small parts is one of the small weapons like the one Celestia had and picks it up, Celestia rushes towards them and Saiko fires and hits her android body right in the chest and causes it to collapse on to the floor, the two dark suited men also enter and Saiko is able to shoot them down as well, she looks over to see Yuji with an impressed look on his face and she cannot help but smile back.

The faceplate on Celestia?s android suddenly flies off and she climbs out, weapon in hand and sees the Saiko and Yuji above and opens fire on them. Saiko and Celestia exchange fire as Celestia leaps from box to box as she tries to make it to the table. With a well-aimed shot, Saiko is able to topple one of the boxes right on to Celestia, pinning her down with her weapon out of reach. The SR generator then beeps to indicate that it is fully charged and is ready to fire, Yuji and Saiko once again together lift the generator into position and aim it at the conduit and Yuji tells Saiko to pull the trigger. The generator then fires and hits the conduit and begins creating a massive surge of energy between them, Yuji tells Saiko to jump for it and the tow of them leap off the table just as the generator overloads and explodes.

Yuji then regains conciseness and finds himself full size again and then is shocked to discover Saiko?s body pinning him against the wall and the room full of a bunch naked girls all in a daze form the explosion. As everyone is picking them selves up off the floor Yuji then spots something large and blue in the corner and finds Celestia lying unconscious and full size as well. He then helps her up and she?s amazed to find her self larger and soon realized what had happened, the energy field created by the power conduit and the SR generator that restored everyone to their original size had a matter enlarging effect on her. She quickly grabbed a scanning device from the table and scanned her self and discovers that the cells causing the genetic disease didn?t increase in size with her and were too small to have any effect now, that they had found a cure. After apologizing for all the trouble she had caused them, Celestia thanks Yuji and the other for discovering the cure and now her people will be free of the shrinking disease and tells them she must return immediately. Yuji and the others are more than happy to leave, Yuji then grabs his clothes and retrieves the bag holding all the others, once outside the abandoned inn, the structure suddenly breaks apart as Celestia?s ship emerges from within and flies off into the night. As everyone expresses relief that their ?little? ordeal is over, Kaori asks how they?re ever going to explain any of this and Saiko says that they?ll think of something. She then turns to Yuji and tells him that he?s not quite off the hook for his involvement and shows him an SR generator that she had taken from Celestia?s ship and smiles at him.

The next day the Morning news broadcasts that fears can finally rest at Enoki university as it has been confirmed that all five kidnapped victims of the so called ?hunter? have been found. The five female students owe their lives to inspector trainee Saiko Shinado who, with the assistance of Enoki Student Yuji Inaba, discovered the Girls were being held in an abandoned inn outside of Osaka, in the process of rescuing the captives the inn had caught fire and burned to the ground and the unknown assailant dubbed ?the hunter? is believed to have perished in the blaze. All five victims are reported to be in good health and will be returning to their families later today, meanwhile officer Shinado and Mr. Inaba are to be commended by the city later this week for their heroism.
