Yargh!.....? what.. er... dag-nabbit pirate talk!

Okay, so basically Spira is a big depository of ancient technology, which the inhabitants really have no clue what it takes to create it, they only know how to produce and distribute it apparently... If you want a story that takes a new turn, you could start it off with a traditional opening of having the dress spheres, and bringing a lot of attention to them AS IF you might do something with them, but instead they begin to question how the dresspheres actually work, and seek out a lead, of which they could find from some shady historian... ancient library, or newly discovered and renovated ruins (like it was used as a temple but someone broke a wall down to reveal a previously unknown area etc...)

Hence following that they learn of the code to enter an ancient technological lab, and eventually piece together where the entrance to this lab is hidden (possibly behind some waterfall that they've passed by thousands of times along the pilgrimage road or in the desert someplace under where Rikku used to live)... then once inside the dresspheres react and run away from their owners taking on seemingly physical form and AI because of interference, this being the situation, and they trigger some kind of alarm system with causes a lockdown, so they have to explore into the labs to find the way to open the exit again. The confrontations with the Dressphere doppelgangers could then steer them into a series of chambers that are in serious disrepair, where the chemicals used to create the systems for the dresspheres interact with nanomachines that were the precursors to dresspheres... and.. oh wait I'm practically telling a story here myself not just outlining one.. >.<

Basically it would take a while before anything of process happened... but I always feel that its better to wrap it up with an interesting story than to put out the fetish parts raw.
