Re: Midna BE Story

Midna and Link piece. Decided to go cliffhanger-style here.

'' Night had finally started falling and Midna was still asleep- sleeping during the day felt rather odd, she preferred the darkness. But being exhausted as she was, she made this exception. Her dreams were a bit confused, until they came together in darkness. She thought this darkness was dreamlessness- but to her shock a light was put on, and a red-haired woman sat down beside it and started reading in a scroll. Midna did not know what it meant, and it lasted rather long to her discontent.

Suddenly the girl jumped around wielding her scimitars and looked right at Midna. She thought she had been seen- but the girl looked at something behind her. She turned around. Her eyes were better in the dark than the other girl’s, and the could see an odd black portal from which darkness crept. The strange darkness crawled over the floor on the scroll that the other girl had put down. The girl didn’t seem to notice and for moments kept looking where the darkness had first appeared.

Then she picked up the scroll, and suddenly everything swam before Midna’s eyes. She gasped in the realization that the girl had been cursed- she gasped again at a sudden weight change on her chest. Her breasts hadn’t grown all that much, but the weight they had was hard getting used to and if that weight increased that did not go unnoticed. She opened her eyes to see Link, still with his eyes open. He looked concerned- and Midna realised that he must’ve heard her gasp at something.

‘Link, I think someone else has been cursed...’ she said answering his questioning face. ‘I cannot sleep any more. Let’s please stop the next part of the curse. There’s only two more parts about, and I cannot be at peace before those have stopped,’ she said. Link hesitated- he didn’t want Midna to be tired- he feared she suffered terribly under the curse and felt bad for her- even though it was not his fault. Midna however insisted, and Link did not like to disagree- and so they went out. Epona had been washed and cared for by Ilia.

Link greeted his horse with a smile. Epona, with good food and some hours of rest, was ready to ride again ( though not fully rested ). Link feared he could not see the cloud in the dark, but he need not have feared- the full moon shone brightly and a dark, strange cloud could clearly be seen in the dark blue sky. The toil of getting Midna on Epona is not even worth description. It involved one or two falls and some bruises. But finally, as the sky became even darker and the moon clearer, Midna and Link ( and Epona ) were ready to go.

It was no longer something special to ride through the beautiful Faron Woods. All Link thought about was the cloud in the sky, and all Midna thought about was getting the itchy leaves out of her cleavage. It was that the Faron Woods passed quickly and the Hyrule Field came in view. Midna looked at the cloud- a dark patch of sky by the moon. She could not guess very well where it was, but the sight of it alone was disturbing. She had the strange feeling of walking into a trap.

Link also felt something like this- but he had destroyed monsters over ten times his size, and would something happen, the Blade of Evil’s Bane would not fail to miss it’s mark. He looked at his hand holdings the reigns. The Triforce of Courage shone brightly on it. He smiled. Epona ran fast as the wind. Midna noticed that it was cold, and wishes she had a coat or something. So the cloud came nearer and nearer, but it never seemed to get any lower at all. It was that in less than an hour they were right under it.

‘Link, do you think this cloud waited for us?’ Midna asked doubtfully after they had stopped. Link was silent, for a strange sound filled the night. It was a dark, and hardly human laugh. The cloud now lowered, and it’s motives became clear- it wanted Midna. Link forced Epona to run again. One would think a cloud would be easy to outrun, but though they got out from under it, it stayed right behind them. Epona could not run forever. Midna looked back- the cloud seemed to form a hideous head with a huge open mouth: to consume her.''
