I ordered mine from Comics Infinity and they weren't told when it would ship either, tho they had some info it was to go mid September. The date Diamond has sounds about what the sales rep from Infinity guess should be when they get theirs in as well.
Think the pre-orders take two to three months, then they come when Diamond or whoever is distribution for your area.
