Yeah, you're right. I could do this myself, but I'd have to sacrifice a lot to do it. I don't plan on making this VIP-only, don't worry.

I really like those tasks. The only requirement is for people to DL RM2k3, but once you get the program, you can actually open the game and see my editing.

I like the idea of having a team, actually. A lot. Help me brainstorm some roles. This is going to take a little amount of commitment but it should be worth it. And I hope to break down jobs so they are specific.

Here are some ideas:

2-3 mapmakers (each assigned specific map, etc.)
monster coder (codes movement patterns and attacks for monsters)
event coder (I can probably take up this role along with mending everything together)
artists (already have a couple)

How it would work- since map files are just files, you can copy and paste them. Since they would be made using the same game, all the events and variables referenced should theoretically stay the same. I.e. I have one little map where I have a bunch of monsters, and to test I just start a new game on that map and they run around and do stuff.

I didn't lie when I said that release is right around the corner. There are just a couple delays. However, the idea is that the game will be non-linear. As I said, there is a scenario right now where you can save Rydia from a lamia (notice the theme of FF4 heroines for the first island. Also note the picture of Rydia x Lamia in my yahoo group

). If you save her, she will travel with you, and there will be chances with.

I have in mind an Illusion of Gaia-style party system, where you have heroines following you. They don't really do more than provide moral support but they can get captured and brainwashed, or if you get transformed you can turn around and brainwash them.

There is also going to be a fetish system. Jessica will start with a pantyhose fetish. This is me being selfish. There's a cutscene where the way she acquired it is explained. She can ultimately recover from fetishes with powerful magic, or acquire new ones if captured by the enemy, and these fetishes will do super CC damage on her.
