Yeah, I figure that since they're not "riding" the bodies - that is, letting the mind usually associated with the body gain control - but they're definitely in the bodies, that the verb "to bear" would work best. It kinda means both "to have" and "to carry".
And, after all, "form" is a near synonym to "body".
