I've been nothing but supportive of TaylorMadeClips.com in the past. In fact, "Slow for a Saturday Night" was the 40th Taylor clip I've purchased. It was also, by far, the worst. Emphasis on high stylization is what usually set these clips apart from the rest (Giantess Zone, I'm looking at you), but in this case it just doesn't work.

Half the clip being filler is nothing new, but the nearly three minutes of drunken conspiracy theorizing that sets "Saturday Night" off is excruciating. ("Obama won't save you!") The inflation, which starts at the four and a half minute mark, is underwhelming and inferior to most of the previous productions. I won't comment on the "hardcore" sex scene (pictured in the last screenshot, above) beyond saying that the breast props just didn't do it for me.

Please don't take my criticism as so much bitching and moaning. I do feel like I just wasted nine bucks, but that's not why I'm giving this clip such a negative review. Rather, I feel that TaylorMadeClips should keep up its tradition of quality and growth (no pun intended.)

Lastly, a plea from someone who does film sound and editing professionally: invest in a decent microphone. Sound recorded from the camcorder can be identified by the viewer as such, destroying their suspension of disbelief. Sound recorded from a boom mike, on the other hand, can significantly boost the professional feel of a production.
