My wife is from Biloxi, I'm not. She moved after Katrina (we just recently moved back down here). Any time she told people this--anyone, ever, at all--the automatic response was, "Oh, you're from New Orleans then!" I blame the media: N.O. made a great weeks-long story due to the flooding and the aftermath. Biloxi got hit and the story was basically over as far as they were concerned.

Nice to hear you were involved in the clean-up effort. Bravo, sir.
