Guess I'll de-lurk for a minute to post my 2 cents on the whole nipples argument...

Matt, first of all, I'd like to say that your art is awesome, and I'm not just trying to suck up to you when I say that. I watch a lot of other artists on DeviantArt, among other places, that draw busty female characters, and I can honestly say that you're one of my favorites, because your style is very light-hearted and appealing, yet also very sexy. Hell, I've even fapped to some of your pictures of Mattie because I thought they were hot, and as gross as that will probably sound to you, I mean that as a sincere comment; there's a lot of busty anime girl drawings I've seen that I wouldn't do so to simply because the art style is too off-putting or poorly done to me, and not just in the breasts (Blue Eyes hentai series, for example - the girls' faces look HORRIBLE). And just to put things in perspective, one of my friends who has been taking art courses in college even told me how great works like the statue of Venus de Milo in the Louvre are starting to get stains simply from so many people THROUGHOUT TIME fapping to it, simply because Aphrodite/Venus was the goddess of love and was a huge symbol of sexuality.

That said, if your art is going to delve into the realms of BE, cowgirls, and big anime boobs in general, people ARE going to see it as catering to specific fetishes. Sure, you can lay down the law when it comes to what you want to draw, but if you're already knee-deep in that sort of territory, people are just going to expect nipples to be on the breasts in one way or another - it's just part of the anatomy, "cow pasties" to cover them up or not (no offense, but they DO look kinda ridiculous, albeit cute and funny... but if your girls' boobs are meant to bust out of her shirt, what's the point of covering them? Sorry but I don't understand that...). And even if you decide not to draw nipples on your female characters, keep in mind that some people DO like to take other peoples' work and attempt to alter them, Rule #34 and all. (don't worry, I suck at drawing/Photoshopping, and I don't believe in stealing other people's art in the first place)

But anyway, what I'm trying to say is that, as an artist, it's good to try different approaches sometimes, even though that may just translate to you as "draw the nipples on the boobs so we can fap moar to them." Just keep in mind that are many tasteful ways to draw nudes, so you could still keep the same lighthearted/cute style (which is awesome, btw. :3) Hell, you could even take baby steps if you wanted, like just drawing a few "bump" lines on her clothes next time to show that they're at least there, or just draw one single image of her with her "cow pasties" off every so many pageviews to satisfy some of your fans, or just charge people money for requests/commissions if they want to see the nipples (dunno if you draw mostly for fun or if it's a career, just throwing ideas out). I'm sure you could come up with something.

Regardless of what you do though, I hope you understand my view on this and don't see me solely as a pervert who likes big boobs (even though I do love them, lol... I wouldn't be on these forums if I didn't) and as someone who's just trying to offer his honest opinion. That, and more importantly, I hope you keep on drawing awesome Mattie artwork, with or without the nipples!
