I believe the source is an artist by the name of nosoul.

He posts his works in various locations, but I think this place has most, if not all, of his works:

Note that you may have to sign up for the forum if you want to see the images there. but the actual .gif and .swf images are linked to a third part image hosting site. There are also links to archives of his work as well (and they are still alive), if you are interested.
