It's a neat story, but I'm worried the Orc seems a little too Thrall-ish. Too pretty, thinky, and magic-y for an Orc, even a half-orc. If he'd been two out of the tree, it would've been okay, but looks, brains, and brawn all at once? Reeks just a tad of a marty-stu. ^^;
