You know... i thought the stories were okay. I didn't read the lizard one, it ain't my sort of thing.

However i would have thought there would generally be more of an acceptance for almost anything produced by the TF community. It's debatable about the size of the community but it's not so big that there's a steady creation of material so you would think that people may appreciate the effort that people put into writing or drawing stuff.

Let's be fair here the stories in this thread are not bad stories. There wasn't huge areas of bad grammar and poor spelling. The stories weren't bad, the tf weren't badly written. This is the case for majority of stories which are written within the community. The same goes with art, majority of the art is decent and a fraction of a percentage is poorly drawn or scribbled.

On saying that the expectations that some people have of these stories is borderline fucking ridiculous. Do people actually expect huge amounts of character development, original stories, plot twists etc. in these stories.

Have these people forgotten that these stories are written about transformation of some degree?

Hell have these people ever watched a transformation FILM? Have you seen their plots, their characters? They are generally fucking atrocious films.

They are the sort of creations that i would bring my friends around to watch and sit and laugh at how bad they are. These things have budgets, qualified writers who write the stories/characters and directors/actors who put time and effort in to make them... and they are still fucking awful.

Yet some people within this community ( who must be delusional) think that people who don't have ANY of those things will write something amazing.

Like this really does piss me off, not many people make these things and people are so fucking ungrateful about the things people put time and effort into making. Like i said, these people aren't professionals and don't have unlimited resources/time to make these things.

The expectations are ridiculous and unreasonable.

...and another thing i really do laugh when people state that they have a problem with the quality of the transformation... as if they actually know what would happen as if it REALLY HAPPENS.

It's totally pedantic that people think "oh that's not would happen. Oh the anatomy is all wrong"...

Are you seriously trying to debate or complain about something which is fiction and can not/will not ever happen. It doesn't actually matter and people make a big deal out of it, IT CAN'T HAPPEN.
