Actually, I've been working on this on and off for months. I just didn't mention it much until this week

.
The animation was done with Daz Studio 3.1. I rendered it as still sequences which I turned into .avi files with VirtualDub. Audio clips were either recorded with Audacity 1.3 or taken from Freesound.org. Editing was done with the free Lightworks 10.0.4 beta, a pro grade nonlinear editing system (apparently it's won a technical Oscar) that's actually fairly easy to use. Final compression to .mp4 was done with Avisynth using the Zarx264 GUI.
I originally started the project back around April, until my old computer died. Luckily I was able to save the animation files. Unluckily I still had to rebuild the sets, so I stuck on the backburner for a while so I could get some experience under my belt with lighting. My guestimate for render time is around 100 hours or so (I'm using a laptop for all of my work believe it or not). Editing and soundwork took I think about two evenings, excluding the time spent figuring how to stop stuff from crashing.
