I run MKV player when watching shows or videos. If other programs like that have similar options then this might work.
You know how when you push sub titles a window pops up that lets you browse your computer to find a file like from my computer, documents, pictures, etc. Click on this file where ever you have it unzipped at and it'll do subs titles for TSF Monogatari.
