It's not that it's hard to believe. It's just one of those things that's like "meh".
Ultimately, it's just not practical. Can it be done? Yes? Will we throw all our research money towards making bigger boobs? No. And it most likely won't happen until there is either a large enough demand, or until there is a large enough need.
But to say we have drugs that work now... Well, yes and no. You forget that most of these tests aren't very well controlled, and evidence has hinted towards a possible placebo effect. There have been cases of legitimate increases too, though.
I'm sorry. I feel for you. But we're just going to have to accept what is and remember to keep the line between reality and fantasy in place.
