Actually the female trainer you play as in BW is named Hilda. She's the girl with the pony tail and booty shorts.
Personally, I vote for May, since gen III is what got me back into pokemon. The thing needs a remake already. I miss secret bases, gender-neutral contests, and the ridiculous speed of the Mach bike. ;_;
