I'm OK with finances at the moment. We can get by currently with what I make, it's just that lingering debt that has me freaking out for the very near future. The way we're living now, we can't keep it up long term. ...it's been a hard 3 months (~_~);; It's why I decided to open up commissions, it brings in far less than comics over time, but brings me "instant" income in a sense, even if it is significantly less money. I just need to stay afloat for hopefully just a while longer. What has me worried is taxes, since my husband's previous employer did not withhold taxes and his employer forgot to tell him (and I know it wasn't just him, his other coworkers had the same issue!), so combined with taxes from comic sales, plus his taxes from his previous job it's over $6,000 we need to pay. And because New York takes federal, state AND city taxes, we have to pay a bunch of large lump sums by tax day even WITH a payment plan (600-800 each!). *Sigh* it's one of those times that I miss Florida's tax (which is only federal), but I guess I shouldn't be such a hypocrite, my stupid liberal head should be proud I'm providing taxes to a 'charity' state, one that gives more assistance than takes...even though my ass is broke... Let's not forget all those piling medical bills I have from my September surgery too (-_-);; Ughhhhhhhhhhh *head explodes*!!
It's just one of those shitty situations were you realize this is life, you're an adult and life sucks. Mom and dad can't help you, you can't afford health insurance and the future is unsure D: sucks!!! Just want this to pass (>_<);
