thanks people, and yeah not too surprised there's plenty of reasons and I'm guilty of doing them myself sometimes.

there's been 88 different commission jobs, for over 300~ pages of material (though not all bob related).
most expensive single commission was 700~ (not counting on going stuff like the web comic or multi-parters)
cheapest was 10~ (not counting free requests or such)
average of 15 jobs in progress at any given time.
