I have no real say on that matter though. Most of his artwork has been hit or miss for me. Quite a few good ideas, but sometimes elements of a piece got in the way and caused me to not like it. I'm not going to miss him, but I do encourage him to not get discouraged. It doesn't paint a really pretty picture of his target audience, either.
I mean, if you're particularly protective of your work (as WIPO and Berne
require you to be to claim copyright), that's one thing.
The issue here seems to be that he aggressively pursued copyright infringment, and got death threats
because he cut off the suppliers.
That'd be like threatening BustArtist (not comparing quality here, just business models) because he charges for his works and pursues infringers.
Nobody should be surprised - or, worse, committing misdemeanors (not hyperbole, fuckers, look it up) - because he left.
They've only themselves to blame.
