Unbarred Sin: At least with Rule 63 Link, you have the nuclear option, assuming Miyamoto-san gives the requisite two shits.
Given that dA is centered in the U.S., and thus
is required to comply with U.S. copyright laws (yes, IT PISSES ME OFF when people try to say "that's not so" on X site in Y country, simply because
dA is headquartered in the U.S., so they get U.S. laws for compliance issues), it would take quite a long time for dA staff to clean up all the "derivative artwork" were they required to do so. Hell, they might even have to create new positions for the task.
Not that I ever advocate the nuclear option, but ya gotta admit, it'd be fun to watch in a demented sorta way.
