Re: TylorMade(TF)Clips
What I recommended was not something that would break the bank. Slayer1 is correct, it would definitely be under $200 and the prosthetics can be maintained for multiple uses.
I paid for the cat video and felt rather insulted that I paid so much for something that bad. The make up was poorly executed, it looked like a clueless beginner did the face painting, and it was terribly unconvincing . They used a god awful, cheap looking tail (a black vinyl tail with a small tuft of fluff on the end) which can be found at Spirit Halloween stores. The cat eye contacts were used for the DOG video and NOTHING for the CAT video... ummm ok? They use curly hair clumps for a poor representation to make it look like fur spots on their bodies (the curly stuff would work it it was a sheep). It would be more fitting if they straightened the hair, cut it down, then used some spirit gum to cover more area to give the effect that fur is growing on her body, instead of what looks like rabbit tails or sheeps wool popping up in random spots on their bodies. Even on some of the other videos, everything looks rushed and poorly executed. Please take the time to do it right or just stop. I'd rather stand behind videos that look convincing, considering people are PAYING for it, rather than slapping on some bad make up and cheap/crappy thrown together props (tails, ears, fur, etc) on an actress and then tell her cry and blurt out animal noises.
Considering the videos are priced between $15-$25, I personally will not buy another video, until they show they are willing to improve the quality and sell something which would show they took pride in the final product
