This is Microsoft saying "We want you to have as little freedom wit hthe gmaes you play as possible, so that we cna make the most profit by watching your every move, and making your several hundred dollar system stop playing games if we think you're getting too much freedom somehow.
Also, you are required to have an internet connection even for single player games (oh but it's not always online herp derp), so there's an extra charge (not everyone has home internet). Oh, AND besides making sure you have that, you'll sitll need xbox live to play anything online, so shell out more money. Oh, AND we're watching you through your kinect, which you cannot disconnect without your system becoming non-functional. Oh but we're totally advancing gaming with our new Xbox One! BUY IT NOW SO WE CNA CONTROL YOUR LIVES!
