I am going to copy paste what I responded about my 3D comics:
I have had a very rough year so far - surgery for cancer and then to find out the doctor neglected to get the biggest tumor out, and then that there is one in my chest they knew about but didnt tell me about for several months - All which we are working on getting taken care of, but all these doctor visits(specially to the specialist who is a 3.5 hour drive each time from where I live) take up a considerable amount of my time. Needless to say its very taxing on me to work 12-16 hours a day on rendered comics(due to high amounts of post work I put into them) after that surgery(I tried but it was too much). On the other hand I can still work on scripts while I am waiting at the doctors office or my wife is driving. This is why I am still able to do illustrated comics. So hopefully once all this medical stuff is fixed I will have more time and feel better physically about investing the large sums of time I do on my 3D comics. Until then I hope you guys continue to enjoy my illustrated stuff |
Bloody hell, I didn't realise you have been having such a rough time. My condolences.
I'm sorry to hear about all of that, especially that its cancer. Such an evil disease. Needless to say I wish you the best and fastest possible recovery. The fact you've been doing all of these releases during this time is incredible and massively appreciated.
