Great idea. Actually having White magic => Cows & Milk and Black Magic => Cats & Mischief has a very good ring to it.

Edit: I can do it in regular anime graphics, because I've got a bigg brain. I've just thought of the way to make scalable outlines by just using Renpy transforms.

I make a cel-shaded image and an equivalent, but about 3% larger that is completely black. The black is behind the cel-shade, granting outlines. Then, when its scaling time, the cel-shade increases at X% rate whereas the black one will increase at a slightly slower rate, in such a proportion as to keep the outline thickness constant.

Yay!
