This was an enjoyable read, I just wish the process had been described a bit more in-depth than "She grew 5 inches, then 5 more, etc. etc."

Her second spurts (After she reached 5'5") was described in much better detail, since you gave much more reference to her relative size than just "she was waist/chest high" type things.
