Speaking for myself (don't know how anyone else feels), the acting / dialogue is more important even the effects...though the effects are certainly great.

Since Missa probably doesn't have access to a pool table, because that would just be fantastic if she did, I think having her visit a gambling website in the same vein as pleasure island might be a nice trade for the heavy table. Perhaps the woman she's portraying also drinks and smokes too much, and is so addicted to online gambling, she hardly notices as changes begin to appear... until of course, she begins braying like a donkey.
Okay producers. There's your idea. Go!
