He takes comics in his slots too. The six pager I linked a while ago was just off of a normal slot. He is super busy with commissions (and has gotten a bit difficult to get a slot with), but if you're patient and watch his page, you can hire him when he has openings for whatever you can agree on.
For context I think I waited a month or so for a slot.
