I know my delusion isn't a puff of hyper-reality. Sounds like the old you has returned. ^_^ And that bodes well for all of us.
I still have copies of The Obsession & Trial of the Obsession as classic favorites of mine and still remember them quite well. With that in mind, I can see where you are trying to go with this reboot of sorts. It seems like a big step outside the box you created with the original stories, and then a step forward to advance where you left off. Though neither original was anything abhorring I assure you. Knowing what you are capable of, I find renewed interest in this story arc.
I also can't help but take notice of the present company, Qzar9999, whom is writing his own shelf-busting masterpiece already. You should check it out. One Week at Wolf Lake. *_^
