There was a story that I read once, but I can't remember where. There was a group of people, probably archaeologists, that find a cave with a bunch of animal statues in it. one of the people does something, and during the night, is called back into the cave and is transformed. Eventually, I think all but one of them are transformed in the cave. Either during the day, or when someone else comes into the cave, they transform into statues or something similar. Has anyone else heard of this story?
