It's due to the fact that a lot of the content is apparently very morbid as far as kinks go, which, with the existence of reddit, 4chan, and other dark ends of the internet that aren't so strictly refrained, does sort of question the old logic of it. But then again, a lot of this is coming from overseas work, so it could be a censorship on their part as to why.
