Ah, I am glad to see that there at least a few other fans out there who like the same thing I do! Yes, I really like the "unwilling" growth - or even the "willing" growth when it turns into "unwilling" because it turns out to be more than the lady bargained for. Maybe she was just expecting to grow an inch or two and, to her mounting alarm, she finds herself growing and Growing and GROWING as the buttons start to pop and the hems start to rise and the seams start to rip. I like it set in a "public" setting because that gives an audience for the growth and fuels the character's reactions because not only is she growing but everybody can *see* her growing and her increasing exposure moment by moment - I find it adds a lot of wonderful anticipation and tension to the scene. And finally, I always enjoy it the most when the character reacts with increasing shock, alarm, embarrassment and a panicked desire to cover herself or try to hide as she sees her clothes ripping apart bit by bit, button by button before she ends up naked. And, of course, it is a doomed effort because once she is giant and naked she is far too big to hide and everybody can see her! I think I like it this way partially because for me it adds a touch of "realism" to the fantasy (and, yes, I realize the silliness of a "realistic" growth fantasy!) - it always seems to me that a real woman *would* be very embarrassed at growing right out of all of her clothes in front of a big crowd of people. Also, the growth scene in Village of the Giants was what burned this fantasy into my brain when I was a kid, and I always loved the shocked and embarrassed reactions on the girls' faces as their clothes ripped off in front of all the guys and how they rushed to cover themselves in the curtains.
