Naga are snakes with the heads of men from indian mythology. That's men as in the sex, not the species, as female serpent people are nagi.
Lamia is sort of the originator of the modern succubus, only she eats children instead of bedding men. Sometimes she gives birth to Scyllia, who is the closest this monster design comes to ancient myth with the body of a woman, a sea serpent, and several dogs.
I think the modern interpretation of this monster comes from Ray Harryhausen's Medusa in Clash of the Titans.
