I think the biggest issue is that figuring out the solution relies heavily on noticing minor text changes. They're too easy to ignore in favor of the large image and icons. It's also probably why you went with trial and error and, eventually, "cheating": the effects of your choices weren't obvious enough. Tightening the feedback loop would definitely be an improvement.
Close. I picked up on the minor text changes and such. The difficulty was gauging the numbers behind them and their impacts. I ran into 100% mind, 200% body, 100% libido, 96% clothes, 100% makeup repeatedly in my attempt at strategizing. Getting "ERROR" for stats that got maxed wasn't much help either. I DEFINITELY wasn't about to spend my time brute-forcing all 120 permutations of the buttons, especially with redundant outcomes.

Basically:
  • If the game kept track of what combinations you tried already, that would've cut down on the redundant outcomes.
  • If the numbers on the display below were displayed constantly instead of at the end, that would've helped me figure out a better strategy more easily.

I try to be verbose in my analysis of games/programs, I have first-hand knowledge of people complaining about some feature not working and not giving enough details about what they did.

I don't actually play many. I've played Trap Quest, Bimbo Mall Battle, Corruption of Champions, and to lesser extents, Bimbo Holdem Poker, Escort Dreams and Choker Change. I used to keep track of things I consider game design flaws for bigger things for personal analytical purposes, a short list can be found (here) but TF games typically transform (dohoho) quickly enough that they get fixed and my ramblings become invalid.
