So this is just an idea I've been playing around with in my head, and anyone may use it if they ever get the motivation to write a story or something. But like, what if the shipgirls from Kantai Collection were actually women with the souls of ships that were converted into shipgirls, and said shipgirls were literally proportional to like their named ship sizes? The anime and whatnot never actually showed them with any humans, so it could be plausible that all the equipment and buildings and stuff were built to their proportions, but we just never actually see them.

Some of this inspiration came partly from the manga Giant Warrior Nagi, where the girls go into a giant locker room and turn giant sized.

I just have to giggle imagining a busty woman being a shipgirl candidate, and in the conversion, ends up being Ryuujou or a destroyer class. Or at least one of those destroyer classes with a rather diminutive figure. [cough]NotUshio[cough].

But anywho, lemme know whatcha think, and if you write anything or create any content using this idea, or find something like this, please just lemme know. I'd love to read/see it.
