Sad State of Things...

Okay here is a link. In summary Sortimid created a transformation (fetish) image of a woman finding a book and transforming into something different woman.

I'd recommend reading it just to witness some guy (Sortimid) get defecated on by random faceless people, and then watch as he takes the high road without a single miss-step.

My favorite quote was from the artist:
"After all, we don't choose what turns us on. I believe erotic art is a way to indulge sexist fantasies safely and harmlessly. "

I am struggling with understanding on the concept that the image is sexist...

the definition of sexism (wikipedia)
Sexism or gender discrimination is prejudice or discrimination based on a person's sex or gender. Sexism can affect any gender, but it is particularly documented as affecting women and girls. It has been linked to stereotypes and gender roles, and may include the belief that one sex or gender is intrinsically superior to another. Extreme sexism may foster sexual harassment, rape, and other forms of sexual violence.

The only way I see the image as sexist is by seeing the the final image of the woman being perceived as superior to the first woman image.

BUT she read a book, the woman gained some type of knowledge, she added a new aspect to herself. How is this not improvement?
