All in all, currently we have only two options: waiting until someone who's not charged with allegations of sexual assault would make a female remake of AAWIL, or waiting also for someone who would continue with Rose Crowley's business in the way she had recently left them. Good luck with both of them .

This may seem off-topic, but for those who want to finally see a kickass live-action female werewolf TF, the audio series “Tales From Davidstown” is building up to that very thing this year. They posted the following announcement on their Patreon/YouTube yesterday:

RO Pictures, the film company producing this series, is a serious company that gets projects done, and they’ve already released other supernatural horror movies with special effects, e.g., “Book of Monsters” (a.k.a. “How to Kill Monsters”), though, full disclosure, there were no TFs in it.
As many of you already know, they posted a teaser video of what Emily’s TF would look like. This is simply VFX with no practical effects, though they stressed when they film the TF scene in earnest, the final result would feature plenty of old-school practical effects, a la “AWIL” and the first “Howling.” (In fact, special effects makeup tests are one of the goals on their posted Patreon chart.) Here is the early TF teaser, for those who haven’t seen it yet:

Right now, they’re about 10% funded. If you’re not already subscribed on Patreon, I strongly recommend it. Not only will it help bring the live-action TF(s) to fruition, but the audio TFs aren’t half bad either, not to mention the graphic novel, chatbots, photomanips, and other perks you get with your subscription.
