They have to be the worst colouring tool ever invented. Unreliable, too much contrast, they destroy the paper, are useless for volume, and any attempt to mix them turns the ink black! If you're going to hand colour use watercolour paint, or good old fashioned pencil crayons. And why would you hand colour when you're going to put it on the net? Photoshop does a much better job unless you're a fantastic colourist.

Okay rant over. But you have too admit, we see way too many good drawings ruined because the artist insisted on taking felts to them.
