They probably could have done more with the TF if they had wanted to, but unlike AAWIL and the Howling series, the TF effects aren't really the stars of the show. I don't necessarily disagree with the decision either - TF fetishists aren't exactly the target audience with most werewolf movies, so fair enough.

Yep, I agree with you. Anyway, I have always believed that a good TF scene is something that would attract not only the fetishists, but also the fans of good fx and also horror fans... the so-called "body horror" looks at the same time horrifying and appealing for those people (me included). And well, another thing to consider about that: why, when there's a TF scene in a movie, it is almost always partially shown in the ads? Just my two cents
