Actually, it's more like villains are awakening a dangerous alien life form to use as a bioweapon...then promptly lose control of it. Said alien life form are somewhat akin to headcrabs and facehuggers.
I kinda wish there was some sort of infinite hp cheat or mod so that you could end up going through the rest of the game as one of them
the cutscenes would certainly be interesting.
