I'm just wondering about people's view on Elongating Growth. In that I mean a woman getting taller but not getting any wider (much like a naturally tall person). I was thinking about writing a story that was based on elongating growth but I want to know what people's opinion on it was before I started. A good example of this is in the Roald Dahl novel George's Marvellous Medicine where the main character's cranky grandmother grows as tall as a house but never grows any wider so she looks like a stick insect. The growth would make a woman's limbs grow very long so in the end she would look a lot like a stick insect. Another good example is this picture by Manthomex.

In my view it is a style of growth that we don't see too often and that we should have more of.
