New HOBBIT film TF scene...

SPOILER-ish comments below...


Early in the film, the dwarves along with Bilbo encounter a giant bear-like creature in the mountains. Gandalf informs the group that it is a shape-changer and shortly thereafter we are treated to a reverse TF of the bear-creature into a man.

Positives for the TF taking place in one fluid motion (in a wide shot no less).

Negatives for it being night and most of the detail being obscured in the darkness.

Still worth checking out for curiosity's sake. The rest of the film wasn't bad either.

I haven't seen the new Hobbit yet, but this makes me want to see it more than I already did :P

It really is a more blink and you miss it type of thing. I had hoped they would use the character more, but sadly it is just a small part of the overall movie.

I had guessed as much, also the movie ended exactly where I was afraid it would >.<

that said, can't wait for the battle of the five armies XD
