Question: A Modern Nutty Professor?

Hello there,

If I may, and forgiving the somewhat speculative nature of this opening, though I assume that many here - and amid the wider forum - will be aware of Jerry Lewis' 60's original and the more robust, echoed rendition from 96' with the fat to slim Eddie Murphy, as I have referenced a few times over the years. Still, reflecting upon this particular franchise and its relative lineage, something curious did occur to me which I thought to give a home here on the forum.

If I could ask, if it was for you to decide, how would you bring a modern rendition of "The Nutty Professor" to 2018 and what do you imagine would be the issues and transformation themes involved, given the previous versions of the story?
